Description
A very cold day here today & even colder predicted for tomorrow (temperatures below 10 degrees Fahrenheit), but a beautiful sunset. My wife & I went down to our wellhead to tie a couple of layers of blankets around the small structure it's contained in to keep it from freezing (we also have a heat lamp in there) & I brought my camera with me because the sunset looked so promising. I was able to position myself so that this odd vertical glow appeared directly behind this prominent tree & I was pleased with the results...

How pretty! You got just the right vantage point to show off this beautiful phenomenon. I've never seen a vertical sunset before. Fabulous! Hope the blankets and heat lamp did the trick ... 10F is freakin' COLD!!! It got down to 31 last night here in Tucson, and that's plenty for me!
