on my way home yesterday from work I saw this scene. I love how the ice has formed around the tree and branch. this was the precursor to the events that happened today Stay warm

Those are some really fascinating flow patterns in the ice - can't say I've seen anything like this. Of course when it's cold enough to form ice, I'm usually inside as much as possible! A very cool capture, Mike! OK - now I've gotta see what happened...
