on my way home yesterday from work I saw this scene. I love how the ice has formed around the tree and branch. this was the precursor to the events that happened today Stay warm

I think I remember this area. Since times shewed a picture of the summer, where did you mean that it stands in the winter there is always under water ... The poor trees get very cold feet ... Fabulous photo ... It has also become cold ...

Water, in all its forms, can make such beautiful patterns. You've caught some wonderful ones here. I love the patterns on the bottom; the horizontal lines extending from the tree and submerged log like topographical lines, and the rays coming out from the point of the log. Beautiful textures and light! The surface of the water, made uneven by grass and other natural debris, shimmers. Lovely detail on the nearest tree too. Beautiful shot!
