Well in the course of storytelling, some long range ideas have taken form and sometimes in order to give myself a little incentive, I like to give them form. Purchasing Octane Render gave me the idea to do this one. Meet Mike... To the public, the Mike is short for Michelle, but to those who know, it's short for the first name she was born with -Michael.In her story, Mike is the first patient of a new medical science called Transgenics. Though born a boy, she becomes a girl after an accident nearly claims her life. Her father and brother's research allows her to live on, but as a girl. Though Mike has her own story, a lot of what her book is about is a window to a world that's seeing a change that allows her father's breakthrough to make 80% of Medical Science obsolete. As her story begins, she's a teenager, but I wanted to have a glimpse of her as an adult --and this is the result.
