Description
One of the gondolas at the Venetian in Las Vegas. I recently read that people who were hoping for a ride were disappointed to find the "canals" dry and the gondolas gone. The whole place was being renovated. When I was there, the pirate ship was also high and dry; kinda weird seeing all the pipes and drains other various things needed to make it work. But then Vegas is all about illusion and fantasy, isn't it?

Nice work ! I live near Venice (in Italy) And I can suggest anyone to visit This town expecially out from the turistic paths and in inusula period...I prefer the foggy nights!

I took that ride a few years back, it wasn't as cool as I expected, but then it isn't really Venice, is it? Wonder what they'll do next. Excellent shot here!

It seems to me Bill said the fountains were all dry when he was there in early 2010, too. I haven't been since the 80s ... it's on my list! :)
