You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

A truly timeless subject. Well done BB! Tara and I are going as far south as we can go later this month...southern tip of Texas...no snow there:)

I have a great many cozzies! I have ones for serious swimming in the pool which are chlorine resistant, ones for swimming in the sea, and a couple for sunbathing at the beachhut. Then I have ones that I can garden in without my elderly boobs popping out when I'm weeding and frightening passers by if I'm in the front garden. And I have one vintage one which I must photograph. I love this photo!

love to see the 'ancient' one for prosperity sake ;P

Great photo, and from a distance it could be small pieces if ice breaking away from a barely frozen surface! Loved Andrea's comment but I was confused by the vintage one she must photograph...was that the elderly boob or the cozzie?

Love the shot BB and perhaps this is the place the girls on the catwalk should be wearing their high heels!!! Too much info from Andrea!

The colorizer effect looks great and gives this beach scene an Alien feel or did you take a trip off-world ? LOL Beach sounds like a good idea, lets go ! ~Cheers~

This is a beautiful image! I love the soft variations of color and light, the beautiful glowing divide, and the sparkling sand and bubbles. I haven't shopped for 'cozzies' in donkey's years. I don't even like trying on jeans. Maybe a vintage 'cozzie' . . . One that's rather full and goes down below the knee? lol. You put a Kate Wolf song in my head: "And I've been siftin' through the layers Of dusty books and faded papers They tell a story I used to know It was one that happened so long ago It's gone away in yesterday And I find myself on the mountainside Where the rivers change direction Across the Great Divide"
