... for Dinner tonight ? ... that's the question - We have a choice here: PHEASANT or QUAIL ! *** Seriously though, not that I would ever consider, eating either of these beautiful birds on the contrary, I believe in 'live and let live' ... I had no idea, that they would like it here on our property and so the story began - after 10 years, I have finally experienced more wildlife than I ever thought I had, sharing it with you ... Apologies for the quality, my small camera has only one lens (33-369mm) maybe Father Christmas can hear me ? - a Digital SLR would be nice ;)) until then ... Cheers my friends Brigitte

Well they certainly are plump and so would make a good meal. Nice details on the pheasant. You are lucky. We get skunks here but never see them. We can just smell their scent in the morning after they have partied all night. And we can hear crows laughing at us but rarely see them.

Glad we don't have to eat our wildlife for Christmas Dinner, but I wonder if there is a Spam version ? LOL Great collage and when I saw the Quails walking, I keep thinking of the Partridge Family TV show intro ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Wow, you have made such a beautiful collage-photo of it, my friend. I have to laugh about Jeff's comment :D. Sure they all will have a long live on your property, Brigitchen. And I'm happy to know that. Here in the neighborhood are a lot of pheasants, and last night we heard the shots of a shotgun, then we knew there was shooting pheasants, is not fun, huh? I will send a 'shooting-prayer' (as we call this, translated to Dutch: "een schietgebedje"/ German: "Schiess-Gebet", LOL)) that you will be surprise by a DSLR lens soon, dear friend. Thank you so much for the name of that Halo. Great to know I have a sundog, BB-chen!
