Description

A panorama of my driveway. I just started playing with my new camera's panorama mode & was surprised at how easy it is to use & how impressive the results are. My previous camera had a panorama assist mode, which basically just gave you visual guides for aligning successive (separate) shots. This camera lets you pan continuously as if you are taking a movie & then stitches the movie into a single image in the camera instantly. Considering I wasn't using a tripod & wasn't being particularly meticulous or careful about how I panned, I was very happy with how this came out. I did do a little postwork to punch it up, but the image was pretty acceptable right out of the camera. This was a feature I wasn't even aware of when I upgraded to this camera, but I will definitely be taking advantage of it (I wish I had it available when I took my trip to the southwest last year)... Zoom definitely advised for this one.
