oh, thank you so much, alida, this is so kind of you. My comments are possible because of your work---your work is the reason I write what I do. I think you're a truly fine photographer, with a broad and deep eye; and I love your fractals, they're so creative and fascinating and have so many worlds inside them. So the thanks belong to you as much as they belong to me. And I love this image, and I agree with 'photosynthesis' that the legs of the mantis seem to glow, they're 'translucent' (traslucidità? semitrasparenza?) You get that kind of light often...and you photographed the mantis in a fine composition, with light and the stones and grasses (etc) on the left, and a big open section on the right---this is what you do: You get such fine compositions, even in a closeup of an insect. I really love your photography. Another fine image from you, and thank you so much for your dedication. It's my pleasure to comment on your work, and I'll be back again in the next few weeks.
