Description

I wanted to post a few of my architectural drawings from years back, but they're old and in need of repair. So I'll post a photographic one instead... This is from the 'burbs: Just a study in contrast and detail. Better Zoomed, for detail... I'm 1/2 through your galleries now, and loving it. I'll finish by year's end. Lotsa light your ways, and thanks for your wonderful comments and support: They always mean the world to me. A wonderful week to you all, Mark

A well captured stark winterized image of something that you would never see in my neck of the woods, Mark, no matter the season. And, I do like barren trees.

Mark, this is great photography! The treatment really brings out the sharp angles of the house as well as the bare trees.

It seems flattened, but this works for this image. Puts the emphasis on the whole structure. Love it :)

This is a wonderful shot--a stark, cold look at winter. Makes me shiver just to look at it. It has an old timey look as well that adds to the effect.

I really like the high contrast, bleeding the bricks into nothingness except in the shadows. It does give the look of a line drawing. Beautifully done!

HMMM! I am certain I didnt get any ebots for this upload, Dear Mark, so I am glad I took a peek back in your beautiful gallery. What a beautiful shot this is. I have always loved when you made your photos like this and this especially it is very lovely with the contrasts between the shadows of the house and the brances against the much lighter surroundings. It really looks awesome. :-)
