Description

I love this shrub even though it is SO prickly. It has these bright flowers with such happy smiling little faces at a gloomy time of year (ZOOM if you hadn't noticed them!). Then it has blue-purple berries that the blackbirds and thrushes find delicious, and finally it regenerates so well when it is cut back. So providing I keep well protected when I am working near on of them, it is all asset.
