Isn't it amazing how they do that two-colours thing? The red around the edges and the yellow glow inside? It's like a tequila sunrise on a stem... Fantastic capture, Harry, with excellent control of the light to reveal the marvelous texture of the petals. Wow!

This reminds me of the roses my dad use to raise. I use to love helping him in the garden and take care of it while he was on long trips. Very nicely done and what a great shot!!!

When I was growing up, we used to get seed catalogs of roses. We lived in New Jersey, which was a good place for roses until Japanese beetles stop by. We would look through the catalog and pick our favorites. Mine were usually like this one, two colored with yellow centers and peach to red trim. Beautiful rose and lovely capture!
