My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A most beautiful picture for my eyes, you have given me, dear Tara. A place radiating so much peace, my friend. Exactly what I need so much. Occasionally I walk a bit, then again, I study the light and the shadows. Feeling the warmth, as I am mingling with the sun. A sun that brings life in this beautiful earth colored tiles. And then....: I discover YOU, my friend, and my smile become much bigger, as we come close. And we talk, our adjusting to the atmosphere, and in fact it is so, we can enjoy this place together, and speak without words, but knowing there is wonder everywhere. Thank you very much, dear Tara! It was good to see you, special by this surroundings, and without any cacti :D!

A fine dedication for our friend, who would really love to take that walk, if only she could - it can soothe the soul, but I can also imagine Monks taking the same route, day-in, day-out - this place just oozes peace and quite - a real healing place and you wouldn't believe it was for something totally different ;P BB

I'm home and really tired, so I'll only be doing a handful of comments on RR right now, but I wanted to do another of your images before the holiday descended. There are too many beautiful pieces here to choose from, but I chose this for its very special light, it's gentle softness, its inwardness, its intimacy and yet its long mysterious scope. Very sweetly done, that light is soft and very reddish in tone, and the darkness radiates redness (rich, deep, soulful). And the glimpses of architecture outside the arcade (on the left side) are beautiful. You even lined up a small white section---it looks like the beginning of a second-story arcade---under one of the arches, high left side. Small point, but it's the music of an attuned eye. And the shadows on the red bricks are beautiful too...A very sweet sentiment for Jacomina (I love her work), and a very inviting image for her, and a beautiful dedi. A lovely holiday to you and bill! I hope you're having a rich, warm and peaceful time. (And that you had an equally rich time with Lucinda.) Wonderful holidays to you both!
