Description
Our water tower in Tienen, Belgium.. Processed with a little more drama. I like it better than on a sunny day.

There are many skillfull techniques that have been employed to bring life to an otherwise mundane scene. First is timing, you picked a bad weather day to create your shot.Then the use of a slow shutter speed to give motion blur to the grass. I suspect that you used a ND filter to achieve this effect. There is also a well done composition following rule of thirds with skyline and placement of water tower. And finally a fine contrast with two colors green and gray-tan.

Hi brewgirlca, to be honest, i reprocessed some pictures from a walk on a summer day at noon. In wintertime i like to play with older pictures and test what i learned that year. From mood to changing the sky. No ND filter was used for this one i think. Greets, Raymond
