Description
Île de Peilz (CH) - December 2013
And then there was a little isle,
Which in my very face did smile,
The only one in view;
A small green isle, it seem'd no more,
Scarce broader than my dungeon floor,
But in it there were three tall trees,
And o'er it blew the mountain breeze,
And by it there were waters flowing,
And on it there were young flowers growing,
Of gentle breath and hue.

very beautiful tree and what a small patch of land it has

Superb view! The composition is excellent (so large view with small place for the tree and the bird). I also like the gray tones. M.

oh yes, Lord Byron, have seen hes or others traces in the stones.. dramatic for every one to be prisonier at that times.. and thats the view that they all have never seen in the dungeon wunderbar mit le mont risoux im Hintgergrund! une photo très poétique! 5+ :-)

Classic in so many respects but largely due to crafty use of negative space. The bird is a perfect addition and bring balance to the void. The tree is a mystery for at first it looks like a field but actually it is on an island of sorts. Of course gray scale need not be elaborated on.

Cette ile est vraiment etonnante et la prise de vue est vraiment bien faite. J'adore la presence de l'oiseau en haut!!!
