A lovely capture of the rolling tide, I dare not go up the front here, the term "Cruel Sea" is very apt over the past few days of high tides and what not, people are in danger of losing their lives to get that magical shot and become reckless in the process, I do suspect it's already happened where people are washed out to sea. It can be as cruel and ugly as it can be beautiful at times and needs so much respect and understanding.

great dedi and shot!! Happy Birthday, Dana and many happy returns!! lovely soothing seascape... !! :-) recall when we were sent out of Par (in Cornwall) harbour, -in a former life-, cuz our ship was about to smash the quay. already lost our gangway, so Tur & I had to jump on board (I came back just on time, had been at the local photographer's shop -of course-). windforce 12 and all smoke was going down. ;-) we have sailed 'upside down' on many occassions, but the most cruel piece of water is the Irish sea. even worse than the Biscaya.

Forget the "Rule of Thirds". How about the rule of sixes? A real stunner of an image. The colors are gorgeous.

besides the shades of blues and grays and the marvelous layers, there's the awesome textures, and then picture itself is marvelous!

Super surf and sand layering. The mood captured is fantastic, showing off the calm of the sand and sky compared to the chaotic sea. Thank you dear Andrea
