Description

The next episode is taking a bit longer than normal, I've re-written it several times but it's just not right.

Love these images. I've always been convinced I was born 150 years later than I should have been. These images stir my imagination. Rick

Beautiful collage. I'm with Rick - I think I was born 100 years too early. Who in their right mind would buy a 200 year old farm house and actually enjoy its idiosyncrasies (read problems)?

I love the photos of the old West items. I agree with the others. Take your time and get it to your liking. I'll work on my knitting while I wait. k1, p2, k2, p1 . . . Done yet???

Yup ... take your time. I watched an interview with one of my all-time favorite authors a couple of weeks ago, and she said if you start to get stuck writing, you've probably given away the plot too soon. She goes back and figures out where she blabbed, and corrects the pace and the flow. :) Just an idea. :P I like your images, though. Nice!

I often think I would have liked it better when the world was less polluted, more pristine. But then I would have been washing my family's laundry in a cold creek, pounding them with rocks or some such to get them clean. I would have been dragging firewood in for cooking and heating, and probably even cutting the stuff. I would have been killing my own farm animals for food .. how could I possibly kill Oliver the big hog for a winter's worth of meat??? No, I was born when I was supposed to be born. Roughing it (yeah, right) at the Hollow is fun, but not the way I'd want to live. I'm just a spoiled human, too soft to survive in the wild. The picture is wonderful .. makes me think of the Colt story where the merits who lost their gunslinger became marshals. forgot to mention that you can't force a story. it has to grow on it's own. (:

Picture a small spoiled child with clinched fists, stamping feet, with head back, wailing " I WANT MY STORY NOW!!!!" or I can go and read all the other stories again from the first, Yeah, like that idea, okay, I'll behave for a while longer!! You need a break, do two days of art and the writing will be there when you least expect it!

Sometimes you just have to sit back and let the elements flow through your brain cells for awhile just to see if they will fit together better one way or another, or if another entirely new element decides to reveal itself. Inspiration is such a fickle player sometimes! A cool looking photo of these items. Nicely arranged, lighted and presented!
