Description
After walking around the dry bottom of Applegate Lake, we took a walk on the Da-Ku-Be-Te-De Trail (named after a small band of Indians who inhabited the Applegate Valley), which follows the western shore of the lake. At one point on the trail, I saw this puddle which, because of the angle at which I viewed it, reflected the bright yellow sunlit trees on the opposite shore & contrasted sharply with the deep blue shadows...
