Description
It starts with the dread question, "And just where do you think you're going, young lady?", and ends with, "One, it's a school night. Two, Katies parents are out of town. And three, no, you are not going to a thrown together party at a questionable acquaintances house, whose parents aren't home on a school night, or any other night for that matter, and that's that!"
And you have just delivered every line that your parents ever gave you, that you hated, and swore you would be more understanding about when you grew up.
And through it all she's giving you the same look that you gave your parents at the time; the look that makes you just want to turn them over your knee and wail the daylights outta them, or, at the very least, park a lawn chair out in the yard and make sure they don't sneak out the back window.
But she's a good kid. You've raised her right. She's honest and responsible. And you remember what you were like at that age......and you step out on the back porch and get the lawn chair.......they're going to make mistakes.
