I've been using Poser and Daz for a while now, but I still feel like a newbie. I like the potential of being able to animate and create your own scenes. The creative effort appeals to me on so many levels. You're only limited by your own imagination, drive and creativity.
I'm a storyteller, so basically I want to use Poser to create the stories that I want to tell, so my interest is more in modeling and posing than Animation. I'm trying to keep myself focused on that.

Great image and backstory to go with it. I hate leaving negative comments but, maybe the lighting could have been brighter? Most mall food courts or diners are really bright. Otherwise, love your work and storytelling as usual.

Also, the POV is outstanding. Love the over the shoulder camera angle.

I know what you mean about back stories. I once had a game master ask me to come up with a small back story about a new character; I came up with a 75 page novella. Most of my work is pretty well narrated as well. And since you're Daz as well, I'm gonna have to look up those brushes. Keep 'em coming, I like the start of this :)

Sometimes I find it's vital to creating images that I have at least an emotion in mind before I start. These characters are a lot easier because they have their own story that's being written when I'm not doing this. Having an image in my mind that matches what I write about them really helps me brainstorm and visualize the elements of the story.

Excellent story and illustration! I am going to ditto the lighting comment, though. I am considered "Lighting Challenged" and 2/3 of my time I spend working on the lighting of my scenes. Take a few minutes to experiment with moving and/or adding lights. Play with the intensity and scale and also color. You have a wonderful eye for composition so give lighting a few minutes.
