I missed one set of vertices that weren't welded together. For spending ten minutes at work --that's not bad. The smooth tool allowed me to smooth out all the bad jujube from my topology based agony. (I should have paid WAAAAAY more attention in Ms. Tabor's Geometry class.) After I corrected that one little slip-up, I did the subdivision test. My Frankenstein passed the litmus test. The picture on the left is the figure with it's base mesh.with about 50,000 verts. The picture on the right is Zbrush subdivided to about 800,000 verts Thank you Pixalogic! I'm going to be redoing the UV maps and creating the material groups tomorrow but the Geometry is solved...
