Description

This is re-using a ship model from a long time ago, one I'd like to go back and revisit now that my modeling skills have improved some. The asteroids were actually the real focus for me on this. My previous attempts at making asteroids in Bryce have been frustrating, and I usually ended up making multiple renders using different textures which were then merged together in Photoshop to get the effects I wanted. This time I was delving a bit more into the texture-editor in Bryce, and using a couple of textures I made in Photoshop. The result has been rather satisfactory for me, The ship has had some "wear" added to its textures, but the asteroids are straight out of the Bryce render, with no postworking done to them. The nebula and star field were all done in Photoshop. Thanks for taking a look, and as usual comments/critiques are definitely welcome.

Well, whatever you did in Bryce's material editor worked just fine, Mike! This looks like it came straight from a NASA photo - the texture on the asteroid is perfect. As as always, your ship is excellent. Primo work once again, my friend!

I wish this was even larger, Mike, so I could get all of the detail on the ship.Love the asteroids, too. Nicely textured.
