Description

I am lucky that this slightly less hardy camelia, also known as Showa -Wabisuka, can be grown outside in the south. The rather dull backround in this photo is the little greenhouse against which I planted it as a precaution. The flowers are very fragrant, and are a food source for any winter insects. I even saw a bumble bee this week!

A fine capture of a beautiful bloom. It's good to find fragrant flowers still exist, so many hybrids are without a scent, I mention some roses as one example in question.
