Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Well at least Fritz knows his place, under the female. I love Rosie's expression.

Bless Rosie, she looks so cute & fitted in with the boys so well. xx

Lovely pets and beautiful colors.

They look so cozy! I love the way Fritz has his nose snuggled down in the blanket. Mandy does the same thing. We have a colorful quilt that a friend of Bill's made, and of course the dog has appropriated it for her own. :P

what a precious picture of Rosie and Fritz! Just look at Rosie's sweet sleepy face. I love to see when someone's pups all snuggle together! It seems that in our house, all the warm, comfy blankets and throws are Leya's now, LOL. She has even taken possession of all the throw pillows, they make lovely little beds on the couch and chairs, LOL!

A picture to treasure Andrea. They both look like they are in heaven!

Beautiful colors and capital composition in this pic. Fritz and Rosie exhibit no sense of guilt as they take advantage of the soft warm comfort provided by YOUR lovely blanket, A.

LOL! I can't think of a better job for Fritz, he mades an excellent mattress, nicely warm and soft... Rosie's no dummy! What a sweet shot. And we don't discuss the ownership of nice things around here, not if you could see what my dog has done to my really nice fake fur throw...

I can tell just how much u love ur fur babies they are so lucky to have u.The idiots here have been getting fined cause of leaving their dogs out in the open in this severe cold so i hope they learn a lesson from this.

Such a peacefully picture, Andrea. One clearly can see, Rosie enjoy it, sitting on your throw (from which I had to learn, what this name means ;-)) And it is just not, that you throw your .......away. I hope your e-bots are coming to you again, and your camera is okay. (As I read your previous upload, of the beautiful moss.)
kaward
They seem to enjoy a luxurious throw as much as anyone!
angora
a big success, blankie ;-) adorable shot!!
danapommet
And a beautiful 'throw' it is! Rosie is giving you a fantastic pose and Fritz doesn't seem to care. I love the results!

No you just thought you bought it for you..... LOL Cassidy claims every thing that comes in the door too. Oh you got that for me? Thanks. :)

yes, a big floppy opulent composition of your wonderful dogs all splayed out in unmovable bliss. I laughed at your comment "on the throw I bought for ME" and see that some of your fans have been there themselves. I showed it to an old RR friend (who's presently offline) after reading about how her dog took over whole tracts of her living room: I knew she'd relate. Fritz is layed out as only dogs do, flopping into the contours of the throw like you dropped him there and he 'stuck', and Rosie (I hope I have the names right!) is part flopped over Fritz without a care in the world, and looking at you as if to say, "what!!!" (Maybe with a tinge of guilt.) A big lush shot of dogs in napping bliss---and the blues atop are sweet contrasts to the reds and browns below. Wonderful.
