Description

I was looking through photos from last summer, and ran across this little surprise! I don't remember seeing this little mansion nestled in the tree roots among the mosses when I took this picture! The Wee Folk of the Hollow play these little tricks on me sometimes. It was Danise's Birthday several days back, and I missed it. Good thing I happened to be looking at my calendar and spotted it. So belatedly Dear d'Nice .. may this year bring you joy, may sorrows not linger, may sunshine follow you. Photo from the Hollow, the little mansion a "dust collector" from home, combined in PSP, and a little bit of playing with filters. It is bitter cold here again, winds are rip-snortin', and we are under another storm watch. Hope this one passes us by too. We've been lucky that mostly we've only caught edges of storms. Hope you are all warm and cozy and safe. Thanks for to all who stopped to look and thanks to all who left comments .. much treasured comments.

I love this Fae house. I used to build fairy houses and leave them all over the forest. I went back to one once and found it had added to. Over the next several years someone continued to maintain it and build on it.

rip-snortin? lol.... never heard that phrase before, sounds like a for certain cold catcher - lol... I hope Mother Nature is calm next weekend, I can't believe NY is even thinking about changing the day of the Superbowl - the Superbowl was awarded to NY in hopes of a first time Snow Bowl - and my Broncos are playing in it. Excellent picture, I looked it over to see if I could see some mini people, didn't see any, they must be out fishing - lol
