Description

The figure was done using the new ZSphere tool as well as the blades of the weapons and the breastplates. The rock formations were built up using the spraybrush tool. I used a fog alpha to add a slight bit of texture to the fog. For the lighting I used a white overhead light with an aperature of 180 degrees and shooting out 300 shadow rays. I used a brown shadowless fill light to simulate light reflecting off of the ground. I used two red shadowless pointlights for the light emitting from the meteors or whatever they are. The meteors were made by placing a few small spheres randomly throughout the scene using a glow material. I used the hookbrush to create the trails. Here's a link to a complete walkthrough of how the image was put together: http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=007914
