Description

Your commenting on my work has really encouraged and enabled me to express myself in another area of creativity. I am glad that you like my Poetry and that it speaks to certain areas of your life. I know that as I am writing, it is as though a reflection of myself is being cast in a mirror before me. I appreciate the gifts that God has given me, so that I can share them with all of you! Thank you for being so receptive and so appreciative. I retextured and recolored both the sails and the ship which gave it a richer look. I've been working more on my writing and my music and my Nephew and I will be working on a few projects in the upcoming months. I still plan on commenting on your work as time permits. And again... thank you for your interests in my Music, Writing and my 3D Artwork. I've appreciated all your comments and the sincerity in which they were written!

I really like my little home away from home here and the people that go along with it as well. You, along with those who have taken their time to look and/or comment on what I've done, has really given me an enthusiasm that is very much appreciated. So thanks for your encouragement and I will remember your words.

What a superb image with the ship sailing on the ocean, free, but still to move farther from the port it left. Very nice symbolic work, Rich!

poet001

4:59PM | Fri, 31 January 2014

I thank you so much for that comment Jean-C and for confirming the feeling that I wanted to convey as the ship moves further out to sea. It's not far from its port, but it's moving toward its destination. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a very nice comment!

Thank you for those kind words Mickey... they are both touching and warming. You yourself, express through words to others, about how you feel about them. That is a good character in you and you also touch the hearts of many. So thank you for your lovely comment and for liking what I did.

Thank you so much Benjamin! And yes, it is just as you say... both encouraging and challenging! It's something we all face each day... to try and do our best, in order to leave a lasting impression on those who one day, will carry on where we left off. So thanks for your encouraging words and for liking the image as well.

Well Rich, you have done it once again my friend. This beautiful presentation is almost certain to add wind to the sails of all who need it. You're thoughtful poem will certainly provide people with a chance to reflect on what sort of legacy they are leaving behind. Not so much that people will know they were here, but rather that they were able to lead others to the path God would have us be on. Now let me say that the image is especially nice, and you're work on the textures was superb.

6:30PM | Fri, 31 January 2014

What a lovely comment and acknowledgement on your part Dave. I really appreciate those words of encouragement and validity! And yes, it is a legacy. What we do, will definitely leave a lasting effect in one-way or another. And yes... that is the heart of God! "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! To him be glory both now and forever! Amen". 2 Peter 3:18 And thank you for mentioning the fact that the image was especially nice. I'm happy you liked it!

really well done Rich ...the lighting and overall scene makes the boat belong in the scene ....many works have the models looking "not right" in the context of the scene but this is magnificently done. Personally I prefer someone post fewer but extremely great quality images than the opposite. I will watch out for your posts with anticipation as they have always been of the highest quality and good luck with your projects Rich :)

6:53PM | Fri, 31 January 2014

Thank you so much Jim, your words run very deep and I appreciate every one of them! I must say that I am really happy with the way you described how well the ship looks within the scene and how it fits within the scene as well. Thank you for that observation! I try to put whatever I can into whatever I do, hoping that it will turn out as best as it can. And thank you for your encouragement for what lies up the road ahead of me. That too, can be very demanding! But I will still post my work and I like commenting on others' once or twice during the day or night. As I get busier, it might taper some. I'll have to find that balance. You have a great weekend Jim. And again, thanks for the wonderful comment!

"Wow"!! What a beautiful image.....I love those big beautiful sailing ships, and the poem is very beautiful and very inspiring. The poem reminds me of a poem that someone wrote in my yearbook in school.....it goes like this: "When your days on earth have ended, and you lie beneath the sod....may your name in gold be written, in the autograph of God". Very beautiful image Rich......

So very well put Rita! So much to go through to get to where we're going. And in the end it will all be worth it. For our struggles and pain will all turn to joy and we will see things as they really are. Your words here are like poetry itself—describing all that we face in life. You're welcome and I thank you for taking the time to leave such an encouraging comment. Your words are inspiring to me!

A wonderfully powerful image with a lot of confidence. The sail full of wind ..... GORGEOUS! The poem are memories and experiences without which you would not be there today, where you are. They are your luggage and master your life. You seem to know the way .... go for it! Full speed ahead, Sailor! Best of luck!

poet001

12:27AM | Fri, 07 February 2014

I so appreciate these words of hope and sincerity Juli. Thank you so much for your focus on the poem and what it represents. And the ships' sails full of wind for the journey ahead. And you are so right about our experiences and how they've influenced us and have brought us to this point. They are, in a way, our luggage just full of resources and a way to give us direction for our future. And thank you for your confirmation and for your inspiration as I go forth and take hold of that which is there waiting. I will go full ahead and sail the waters that have been charted for me at this time in my life! Thank you so very much!
