Description

Evidence of breaking and entering. This Beachhut padlock is lying 100 yards from the beach up the chine. Last Autumn one of my hut neighbours found her door already ajar when she went to unlock, and inside were a group of homeless foriegners who had slept there overnight. What a surprise!

A rusty padlock, unfortunately such an experience is symptomatic of out of control immigration policies with EU membership and desperate people who might simple just be as poor in their own country than being poor and desperate over here.. sometimes illegally so, with the conflicts of acceptable culture it can bring. Nice shot.

Nothing is sacred, if they want it they will have it and they think it's their right..

Much clarity, color, contrast and history in this superb shot, Andrea. I wonder what happened to the illegal entrants sleeping in the beach hut. Hopefully deported.

And here I thought they had finally locked up the lawn! As for your neighbor, perhaps she should start charging rent. If her tenants are on the dole this could be a way to get back some of her taxes from the government. Nice capture, btw.

I like your photo and it's clarity - the illegal immigration problem is world wide. If governments hand out money to everybody who asks for it - more will come just for the free benefits. When my grandfather came to the America - he had to have a sponsor, a place to live, a job and speak English. He was able to send for my grandmother 14 months later. Sorry for the outburst!!!

Great shot, Andrea! Homeless people are a problem all over the World - the primary reasson is the extreme and uneven wealth in the World. F.x. 85 persons own the same as the poorest half of the World!...
