She is there again!!!!
A pic taken on the park a good few years ago. not a great one. My girls, Hattie & Carla 'B'. My friends Irish setter girls, Emma & Clodagh, my friend Janet & her afghan Jack & Alba & her two little beagles.
We often saw Alba & the Beagles on the park but she was usually looking for one or the other of them as they would be off chasing something.
Jack was a good friend of the girls especially Carla 'B', he adored her. Janet didn't like letting him off, (he was an Afghan after all), one day we took him & Carla, Emma & Clodagh into the donkey field as he couldn't get out of there. We kept the girls on the lead & he went free, I stood upto the fence, he came charging at Carla, she got worried came out of her collar & ran away from him with him in full chase. He kept trying to trip her up, (as he would do if he was hunting prey) & she kept falling & sometimes going head over heels. I worried in case she broke her neck, Janet couldn't get him back & I ran after them. I was SO, SO cross as I didn't want her hurt. When she finally could get back to me, Jack stopped & Janet caught him. She said to me "You were cross weren't you?" I told her I sure was!!!!
Needless to say that was the one & only time Jack went off on the park. Carla 'B' didn't hold a grudge though & they remained friends until Jack passed on.

Great collection of dogs Barbara and of course Zlata had to put in an appearance didn't she ;-) Glad Carl B did suffer any injuries in the chase also would have been scary to see her being tripped.

Well, Zlata has a wonderful ability to show up in photos taken in the past, and to show up in photos just taken, and to be almost anywhere she wants to be! Of course we know that Zlata is Magical, and that is why she be where she wants to be. I love that she showed up in this one, meeting all the pups that are in Heaven now. What wonderful memories you have to share .. and I too am glad that Carla B didn't get hurt. Isn't it wonderful how dogs just don't carry grudges?
