Look it up folks. I've heard in England it is considered a Class B drug. Even smelling it can have an effect. This one has been growing in my garden for over a year and I've never tested out its "capabilities". I just enjoy it for it's exotic looks. Like something from one of those Star Trek planets with the musical atmospheres. ;) I would say it bloom on average about once a week, and the meaty flowers last for a little over a day.
Taken with my new Sony a7 full frame camera with kit lens. I'm still getting used to dealing with shallow depths of field in a digital camera, but I have to admit that it creates some nice bokeh.

I've seen Angel trumpets here in OZ which are also from the Datura family and make you trip, even heard of some dudes going blind, yeah so don't test 'em out ! As for your new Sony kit, a very spiffy result. ~Cheers~

What the devil? Cool POV, color and lighting effects in this neat capture of a flower that I didn't know existed, Kurt. And I sure wish I could get some kind of decent bokeh with my relatively small aperture point and shoot camera. No problem with my DSLR.

This looks like a Datura or Thorn Apple If it is every part of the plant is Poisonous, even in England not sure what the effects of eating it would be.
