Description

here is three graves line up and close to the marker. I left it big so one can read the letters. I know it hard even if you was there. Guess that why people do rubs on the letters to read who and what on the tomb. It is the first grave you come to when you walk up the steps. of course you see a grave way in the back. There is really many graves there. the head stones on some of the graves is small or fall over and some broke and fall over. anyway this is a small grave yard. I need to go to a big one here in town. I know of one where the children play in the graves. I do not think they do that here. Not many houses here. oh forgot to say there is I-10 just past the brick grave you see in the back ground just saw a post of some that it look like a ghost on grave with a fence. That the only image I had that on. I took many in the sun like this but all came out ok. make me wonder LOL I not worry about ghost.

That is a pretty extravagant grave marker and its weight is slowly causing it to break through everything below.

Looks like Sophie Miller born Dec 18th 1808 Died Dec 21st 1880. Nice one Jock. You have nothing to fear from the dead, I handle them quite often and screw their lids down - I have had no complaints so far.

Wonderful capture and motif, Jock. Looks like the grave has been vandalized, or maybe just lack of maint?

Great photography Jock, what a shame that the graves look so neglected, it is a pity that nobody seems to be looking after this particular graveyard. Anyway my dear friend this is an amazing capture. hugs Jane xx

One of the better tombstones at the Confederate cemetery, Jock. Actually, the ghosts around the graveyard really shouldn't bother anyone, if they accept the fact that there really are ghosts.
