There's a famouse painting with a title that goes something like "The Island of Souls", or"Lost Souls" it depicts a woman, head shrowded in scalf, standing in a row boat carrying a lantern while being ferried to an island that looks uncannily like this. I think it's the unusual fact that you chose poplars to decorate your island, just as in the painting, that made me think of this.......very nice !! ;-)

I've got the idea of this island from a painting of a german romantic painter ( I don't know the name) the painting name was "the deads island" and I want to rebuild that scene, I'm still trying to build a mesh of a little ship to use for.
