"YUK !"
I had some Cherry tomatoes sitting in the kitchen window sill ripening. As I prepared to eat another of them, I spotted this one! YUK!
Out they went to the birds! Fortunately, the soundtrack of what I said when the above was discovered wasn't recorded. Otherwise, this would have had to be given a warning for language.

How sad! You could have just chucked that one and rinsed the others checking them very closely. One of them might have been safe. I really hate the thought of throwing out a tomato until it is absolutely beyond hope. The photo is marvelous with the bright reds and sun, even it the center is a bit "yucky".

Actually, I threw out several that were showing some sign of wilt or spoil. The ones that looked OK, I did wash and save for quick consumption. I love the flavor of Cherry tomatos. JC
