Description

These organisms are truly amazing in their ability to colonise any surface. I am testing the TZ25 on macro and it seems very good. I don't even need to alter it to macro setting as it appears to do it on its own as I get closer. This is cropped to about 1/3 of the original image, so on my monitor the lichens are approximately twice life size. Unusually for me I haven't read the manual yet as it has to be downloaded..whatever happened to those cute little books? See some more of it Here

Amazing what takes place over a long period of time, it's natures own abstract on a man-made surface, it is indeed a mini world.

Doesn't this look like a 3D map of some place or other? the blues being water of course. Lichens are just the most amazing and beautiful things .. along with mosses Oh I know, it's horrid that those cute little manuals no longer come with the item bought! I hate going on line and downloading a manual, and hate even more that I have to access an electronic thing to read the manual, unless I want to print out a thousand pages. Sigh. Your new Tizzy is doing a marvelous job of shooting pics, close or far!!

Nice capture, and I go from looking at Richard's vast sky view to your vast expansion of a microscopic area!

Looks as if the macro works great. And as for those books do you mean the ones with 3 pages in English and 500 it every other language including Martian.

Great crop of Lichens Andrea. Our "cute little books" are not so little because that come in 15 different languages.
