Description

The first official Ramp Rally of 2014 was held last Saturday. The snow had melted and it was a balmy 58°, so Sean and Caitlin had Poppa open the breezeway overhead door, grabbed their favorite vehicles and took off. This is a rough approximation of our back "yard". If anyone remembers the "Home Sweet Home" post some time back, the green building is labeled "storage" and the two hangers you see here are place-keepers for greenhouses 3 & 4. The hill is actually just a smooth terrace that raises about 5 feet above the front level. The ramp is a favorite racing strip for the kids. They start at the top and fly down it across the concrete pad into the breezeway. Sean can sail all the way to the far end on his three-wheeler. This weekend will bee too cold again but maybe we can shoot for another rally before Easter. Fabulous scene great to see the little ones have a place to race down, I remember the many times I use to race my trolley down the hill of the road we use to live on. Loved it but there was a grumpy old man that lived at the bottom that use to complain about it lol.
