Beautiful and Moooooving

I like all the lines that take your eye back to the farm buildings. I also like the colors with the green fields and the purplish blue mountains and varigated blues in the sky.

If you desaturate this image---just that, and no more---one will see a layout of lines, diagonals, rhythms, that show your underlying linear sense at its best. The main road, front 2 fences, the road on the left, telephone shadow (in the dirt road), the convergences, etc, all make for a linear fugue, a linear counterpoint that feels at the heart of this image. And then you have the tree at the end of the road, and all that rich blue, which is another set of accents. The sky light morphs from light to dark, another musical line...and so on. A beautiful piece of convergences, rich hues and sweeps. And somehow so typical of the dedication of your eye. Beautiful to look at, Claude. (all I did was pull the image to my desktop and quickly load it into Preview, and desaturate it: I didn't 'steal' it or anything like that---don't want you to think I take people's images...I just had to see this in black and white, and without any effects: And actually your whites were very rich, in desaturation, which means they were as rich, in color. Fine work with light and whites...)
