Description

These objects were just sitting outside an old house in historic Jacksonville, Oregon. I'm usually not a fan of adding frames to photos, but given the old-timey, nostalgic nature of this scene, I thought this frame (which is a slightly modified preset filter in Perfect Effects 8) fit the subject pretty well... Please zoom.

Definitely a "B" day composition. Share this with your local Kindergarten teacher. :) Yes, I did once work at a school.

oh the frame is fine, Claude. It fits the shot perfectly. Your sense of timing and the like is wonderful, so I don't think you can go wrong adding this or subtracting that. It actually looks like a single frame from one those stereo-optical things---there's a name but I dont' remember it---where people looked at 2 versions of one image and then "fused" them in their minds, so they looked 3-D? Well, if you can figure out what I'm talking about, it looks like an image from one of those. Anyway: Vivid hues and sharp as always. And I love how it all leads to that fence and then 'stops'. I love the pov. You handled the stone bench really well too---it's so luminous here. Your eye is just electric: Even in this old and oddball collection, everything is alive. Terrrrrrific.
