Holy cow, two shots to see---I'll do the alternate next. I've wanted to comment on this for several days---it's big, sumptuous and spills all over one's eyes. You have a great background, and you've treated it so that it harmonizes with the flower beautifully---softening, but keeping its boldness. The stamen section is positively sexual (as flowers are supposed to be, biologically), and your pov lets the petals blast away from the center; and those background blurries are perfect for the shot. (I made up the world 'blurries'.) Beautiful work. You're in O'Keeffe territory here, Madame. (Georgia, that is.) She made canvases like this, and they were like Beethoven symphonies...Love this.
