You have lilies blooming around you? We don't have much other than early bulbs yet. Stunning shot of this brazen red hussy, Harry; bold as you please and perfectly exposed for detail and clarity!

Lovely. I know that you can eat these flowers, but I have yet to do so.

Fantastic postwork efforts. The greenery is soft and replicates an exquisite painting. The Lilly pops with color. Well done!

Beautiful postwork, both by itself and as a background to the lily. You've broken the background into flat 'areas', one hue each, and made them into a fascinating woodcut or paper-collage of restful shapes and hues. And the flower stands out in contrast, as a fully modeled (3 dimensional) organic entity...And the pov on the lily lets all that beautiful yellow just spill-out at us. (Along with some smatterings of pollen, maybe---those orange smudges on either side of the stamens? Whatever they are, you captured them with clarity and presence.) Framed with a restive green...beautifully designed, Harry. And of course your flower photography is beautiful as always. Btw, great one-liner about Irish population! (The capital's always Dublin...) I tried one for Chicago or Los Angeles, but went blank. (Try one on Vladivostok. Or Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. That's an actual city.) My Irish friend told me jokes, but I can't repeat them here: They'd close down the site...
