Description
As you can see, we have two chicks here. I know that the picture is a little out of focus but it was getting dark and
remember that learning curve... anyway, I think these little guys are way too cute. They are so fuzzy a little focus issue is not such a problem here. The third egg did not hatch this year.
This pair has nested here for 13 years. If both of these fledge, they will have fledged 27 chicks! By the way, the first chick is about 5 hours old here and the other is 3 hours or so.

AWWWW! SO CUTE! Thanks a load for posting! I hope we will be able to follow them as they grow up. I wonder what a little one like that thinks and feels as it emerges from the safety of the egg into a light, wide open, large world? And those two huge creatures (Mom and Dad). I bet they're quite scared at first. Looking foreward to more photos of these little fellows. :-) PS - for latest news about Kitty, see my last post with reply to your comment.
