Description

Ronnie and Dee will remember this view across the river at Northbourne. I only imagine I should like to live there: now I am single and getting older the last thing I need is to live just out of reach of the shops, the pool and the beach. Also my income is from student lodgers and it is too far from the universities. So I just admire it from the South bank! See my abstract river picture Here

I love this scene as well as the river abstract. It is so wonderful that you are able to look upon this view even if it is too far from the center of things to be practical for you to leve there. I also am a city dweller with a country heart. Fortunately I live in a very green city so I am very content.

I could never live so close to a river. The chances of a flood are SO much higher than living on even a small hill! But I can see the attraction. It's a lovely place. LOVE your river abstract!

A lovely view and looks a super property but after the Winter we have just had I would be worried about flooding.

I do remember that well, I also remember wishing I had bought my fishing tackle :) Mind you though, I got rid of it all a while back, and have lost the desire to fish now.

A lovely bucolic scene. I would love it for about a week and then I would probably lose my mind.

Pretty swirls in the FlickR water version. This would be a lovely place to live and the dogs would love it to!

It does look like a lovely place to live, but I'd live in your house in a heartbeat .. what you've done with your house and your garden are to die for. It's a little bit of heaven in town
