Description

Inspired by a Klaatu song, "So Said the Lighthouse Keeper". So said the lighthouse keeper As he struggled up the spiral stairs Which led him to the laser flare which spanned the cosmic void Where keeping constant vigil He'd forewarn this gallant guard of guards Beware all ships the space graveyard and its stones of asteroids. = = = = = = = The critter is my second attempt to model something in zBrush. It's based on a recently discovered species of planthopper bug. Diffuse, bump, and displacement maps, were all done in zBrush. It's been rigged in Carrara, but I still have to tweak the weight mapping. The planet is custom in Carrara. The asteroids are surface replicated splats with asteroid textures applied courtesy of NASA/JPL. The laser flare was created in Amberlight. The critter's satchel is from my asset collection. The straps were done in zBrush and textured in Carrara. The set is Point Place from DAZ. I'm quite happy with the end result. Thanks for stopping by!
