Alabaster white looms large in this photo, Mark, further enhanced by the dark background, blue gate, skin color and clothing of the individuals below. Those huge ornamental orbs at the gate really pop out in a very awesome way.

I love it, as if they're standing at heaven's gate...those are some serious orbs! Wonderful shot!

Mark, this is splendid work yet again on your part. I swear you almost have a gift for picking out these ideal settings, and then waiting until just the right moment for interesting subjects to fill them. Obviously there is something going on that is highly entertaining, as that is the only explanation for the gentleman shifting his gaze in such a dramatic manner. Of course the question of what they were looking at had me curious to the point of actually studying the lenses of her glasses in full size view in hopes of catching a glimpse of it in the reflection.

Those columns really do look like giant stone people - they are so stark and huge and hard, with blank, expressionless faces, in contrast to the two people below. I always find it interesting how you focus on contrasts in your photos.
