Description
The first in a new series of mine called "Deities." It's my take on the gods and goddesses of Classical Greek Mythology. I know this has been done countless times, but the recent influx of so many "Greek" products has inspired me to do this.

Ares. The god of war, son of Zeus and Hera, both of whom detested him. Ares figures little in mythology. He was Aphrodite's lover who was held up to the contempt of the Olympians by Aphrodite's husband Hephaestus. For the most part he is little than a symbol of war. His string of attendants include, his sister Eris (Discord) and her son Strife. Enyo, the goddess of war, walks beside him.

nice idea jeremy. like the theme in this one. is there a pattern to the emblem on his chest. maybe the reflection there is a little too bright but like the rest of it.
