Hello again! Another street scene of the old part of Algeciras. Maybe Paco de Lucia and his brothers lived in the neighborhood, who knows? I visited Algeciras at first in 1979 with a school comrade when we traveled to Morocco. I came back with my wive in 2011 und again in 2013, more than 30 years after my first visit..... The old part of Algeciras is at some places in a bad condition, there are construction works at every corner - and some houses are so damaged that we lose them forever... It is a very strange situation between the times; between the old days and that new, clean, expensive future - or not. I like this special stadium between the old glory and the total collapse (or a new beginning), when graffiti sprayers decorate these old walls and a whole bunch of cultural news tell about live here. Please notice the poem at the right corner: "THE LOVE IS A TERRIBLE INFERNO" - in Berlin, in L.A. and even in Algeciras 2011......
