DISTRUCTA Just back from a MADHOUSE mission … our team of photographers and electronic painters who work on creating backgrounds for doarte’s tomorrow projects. To say the least … IT WAS A HAIR-RAISING EXPERIENCE: The Black Sea, Scythia the domain of AMAZONS (which some experts suggest now includes the crisis in Crimea). We’re sure most of you are familiar with the AMAZONS … fierce females who captured attention of Greek playwrights and Roman poets. But there’s one detail that may have eluded you. Our mode and her sword suggest it. To improve the accuracy of their bows and arrows … AMAZONS either burned off or cut off a breast! There’s also an element in this scene that escaped network news. The explosion behind our model. It’s all part of the crisis in Crimea … another reminder that humanity hasn’t improved much from the days AMAZONS waged wars. A smiling sidebar … our MADHOUSE team is back home … happily without either loosing ther hearts or their chests.
