You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

I tried to imagine the picture without the umbrella but, whilst it would have made a great picture, the inclusion has really made this a super picture. BTW I have not seen the series.

Very beautiful photo! I love the blue and white with the red contrast of the umbrella! I can hear the sound of the waves! Enjoy the good weather!

Digging the contrasts and vibrancy, still feels like summer to me...hmm, maybe there is something to this global warming ? And as for a long summer, I don't mind at all...way better than being cold and soggy ! Just watch out for them low flyin' seagull's ! ~Cheers~

And here we are in spring, under the rain... as in winter :-) Very nice capture, Brigitte!

Such a splendid eye catcher you have created here, dear Brigitchen. The red and blue are popping up in a fantastic way. Your endless summer makes me want to take part in such a scene. Desire to hear the surf, reading a book, the warmth of the sun, and the pure ocean air. Indeed, an endless row of beautiful associations come by here, viewing your photo, dear one. Enjoy as long as you can, and bring this summer to Europe, please ;-).

I read all those Tom Sharpe books! I am soooo envious about all that sunshine, although the actual temperature is a little high for me. Love the pic!

I don't recall the book, but I think you chose the right title for this anyway. It's definitely an "endless summer" picture, and a fantastic shot.

Ah, the leisure life. Just looking at this image relaxes me. I really must get some sand between my toes this summer.

a shot and vista to envy, Brit!

A beautiful photo and a few surfers out there would be perfect for an 'Endless Summer' movie. If I remember parts of the movie were filmed in coasts of Australia and New Zealand.

Beautiful capture! It has a timeless quality. Your title is perfect! It looks like they could just stay in that spot forever, or at least for the day. But as the sun moves across the sky, they will have to get up and follow their own bit of shade. I love the colors and textures. The red really pops against the blue and the clouds add a softness to the sky that works well with the whole relaxed feel. We are having a relatively mild summer so far. Of course that still means it's hot, just not expletive deleted hot. We haven't had any triple digits highs yet.

Beautiful. Reminds me of some of Jack Vettriano's paintings.
