Description

"Just hold it there ! - and please, don't move" I said to the Real Estate Agent, who was inspecting our property last week, " I must get my camera, it's not every day I come across a butterfly of this size" ... Let me tell you, it was huge! - and - it was still there when I zoomed in, ahh ... the pleasures of finding a living treasure, I even found the Latin name for it : 'Papilio fuscus' ... He ? or a she ? - I haven't got a clue - but it made my day, possibly not the agent's, he probably thought I was slightly nuts, leaving him standing there to his own devices, for a Butterfly! ;P BTW - it was sitting on a Guava bush, near the Clear-water-tank. [that means, for those un-initiated with the process of grey water from the laundry & bathroom, it is cleared and filtered by this tank, and which is then being distributed to all our native trees, planted by us to Council regulations] Hope you like my efforts ;) Cheers Brigitte

It is extraordinary, dear Brigitchen, what a wonderful kind of butterfly you've met! And so good of you, you ran away from the agent to get your camera. I wanted to see the face of this gentleman. It is good that you let him feel, how beautiful the little things in nature are to be appreciated. A good lesson for him to look differently at his surroundings. I really admire you, about what you did, haha. I hope you will get a lot of new energy, dear. And if you have any of them too much, please, send some of it to me, I'm waiting for better days too. But you made me happy, by posting this fantastic, beautiful particular copy, my friend. Thank you for that. :)
