People are fascinating...never a dull moment in this type of photography. Composition is superb...big bushy growth...man almost lost behind. But this too works. Is he hiding back there? Does he see you? Is he thinking special thoughts or is he a bit depressed over some unknown set of circumstances? All of these thoughts go racing through my imagination as I view this photo. Great job my friend.

Mark, you've done an outstanding job once again as you managed to come up with yet another thought provoking capture. I have to say the contrast in colors is what stands out for me here, as well as the point of view you went with. This gentleman obviously has a lot on his mind and appears to have found the ideal location to think things through.

Cup half empty man. I am glad I'm behind the bush to avoid contamination . Brilliant.

A thought-provoking and very lovely scene; I like the ambiguity of that look! Well done!

Oh, wow, take me to your leader. How many scifi films have I seen him in? That dude is either from another dimension or he has to get out into the sun more often. Of course, without that alabaster complexion, he, and his immediate cafe environment, wouldn't pop out like they do and would just be lost amidst the dark foliage. In any event, Mark, excellent stark contrast -- or as Denise would put it, ambiguity -- in another one of your sterling Chicago milieu compositions.

I love the way the bushes sort of part around him, giving us a secret glimpse into his world. It doesn't appear to be a very happy world, but who knows ... he might be witnessing a petty crime rather than sharing his habitual mood. Who knows? That's the fun of it. He could be anyone, thinking about nearly anything. One of the more than seven billion mysteries in the world!

I was so NOT expecting this. I thought it'd just be a man at a table and here you are catching him thru the shrubs. Did he see you? Very, very cool!!

This one has a very engaging air of intrigue with the character sitting amongst the lush leaves. A dramatic shot and composition, like from a movie. He seems very intense, knowing he is being watched. I like the blue tones as well.

A very cinematic shot. I can imagine the camera panning & zooming in on his expression & then cutting to whatever it is that occupies his attention. The greenery also contrasts interestingly & dramatically with the black & white figure. And he doesn't look unhappy to me - just pensive...
