Captured 3/21/14, very early morning, somewhere around the neighborhood. Haven't done one of these in a while, just like with much of my other subject matter. Cheerybye.

Ditto on all the above, and you've "honed this into a genre all its own, and you are the master" (Denise). Beautiful light, beautiful shadow, and the leaf has a hand-like appearance---skeletal---doused in beautiful shadows. And the shadows are that beautiful blue you get in early morning. And the light is that inimitable bleached yellowish light, which is more intense on the left, like it's shining intensely just off camera. Beautiful textures too. And finally, the frame finishes it off---it's just right for this shot. This is beautiful, Harry, and shows that, right after your flower shots, you find as much beauty in a lone leaf as you do in a flower...this is beautiful.
